Description

The specimen has a botryoidal formation created by smithsonite with botryoids to 1.6cm across. The sequence of deposition though has light blue smithsonite followed with a thin layer of very fine drusy quartz and then finally a deposit of clear tabular crystals of hemimorphite covers most of the underlying layer.
