Description

The Talnakh Cu-Ni Deposit supplied worlds best (and biggest) sperrylite specimens. This is a rich example of this rare platinum-containing mineral from finds of the 1990s, it is no longer available today as fresh material and therefore increasingly rare on the market. The specimen hosts cubo-octahedral crystals with mirror-like luster in massive calcopyrite matrix, size up to 6 mm. The blackish grains in the matrix are magnetite.
