Description

Botryoidal crusts of white to yellowish hydrozincite on (quite heavy) unidentified matrix, possible rough calamine.

Comes with antique label Hans Jaklin label. He was an austrian collector and mineralogist, born in 1874. His mineral collection consisted almost exclusively of specimens from Austro-Hungarian localities (the locality Auronzo was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until World War I). The Krantz mineral dealership obtained his mineral collection, which appears to have been quite numerous.
All labels are squares of brown paper rubber-stamped with his name in purple ink.
