Description

Well defined, golden crystals of Pyrite, perched on a "sod" of sparkly Quartz. The matrix is typically Siderite-bearing. The Pyrite crystals are showing a slightly deformed cubic habit, they are sharp edged and highly metalic lustrous. Although Pyrite is the more common species in comparison with Chalcopyrite but at Georg it is different. Good Pyrite specimens are way more rare. And this is a really good one.
