Description

An excellent specimen of creamy leafy cleavelandite hosts an incredibly rich coverage of tens of water blue hexagonal apatite crystals. Quite well developed, gemmy, very lustrous, apatite crystals show both basal pinacoids and minor side pyramidal faces. Associated, also some creamy-colorless crystals, possibly bertrandite.

Very rich cabinet, from a find dated back a few years ago. Cleavelandite has a very evident cleavage, thus the bottom of the matrix might lose some millimetric fragments during shipping - however the mineralized surface is perfectly stable. Absolutely display material, not to be missed.
