Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Kintore Open Cut, Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.5 × 3.4 × 2.1 cm
Description

Bright white arrowhead cerussite crystals with a micro dusting of anglesite sprout from crevasses between spheres of yellow smithsonite crystals, creating a great contrast and depth to the specimen.

Collected in the Kintore opencut in 1996, the colour of this smithsonite is most appealing and uncommon for Broken Hill smithsonites.
