Description

A large and impressive octahedral crystal of black franklinite frozen in white calcite and brown schefferite. The size of the crystal is 4.3 cm - which is a respectable size for the species.

Comes with old label of the Franklin experts Jennie & Lee S. Areson (1916-1987). They were mineral dealers in Middletown, New York, under the company name of 'Mineral Showcase'. They were specialized in the minerals of Franklin, New Jersey.
