Description

Fiorite is a botryoidal form of geyserite, named after the colcation of first description "Santa Fiora, Amiata Mt., Grosseto Province, Tuscany, Italy". The fiorite covers a small piece of matrix, the larger balls have a nice pearl-like luster.

Comes with an old label of the italian enterpriser and collector Guiseppe Garbari (1863-1937, Trento, Italy).
A good example of this uncommon species from the classic "type" locality, probably from the time around 1900.
