Description

Rich specimen hosting silvery-violet lamellar crystals of murmanite up to 20 mm long. Many other minerals are mixed in including black aegirine needles up to 7 mm and light lavender colored, rough ussingite.

From the famous Kola peninsula alkaline pegmatites. Material from these localities is increasingly hard to get nowadays.
The co-type localities are both situated in the Lovozero Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia.
