Description

Another historic australian specimen: Masses of lustrous crystalline stibnite between a crust of ochre-colored stibioroméite.

From old Dr. Krantz stock, comes with beautiful antique label.
The Montalbion Mine was former silver mine that operated as an open cut and underground operation between 1885 and 1895.

Stiblith = Stibioroméite, Dana 6th, 203 (1892).
Stibioroméite is not registered in Mindat, thus I assume stibiconite and/or cervantite as oxydation products of stibnite.
