Description

This is the only calcite specimen of this showy type that I have ever come across featuring a striking association of minerals- I have a larger specimen without the black component but the visual effect is nowhere near what you see here.

Here primary scalenohedral calcite are coated with black heterogenite enhanced by the selective deposition of vivid green micro duftite crystallization that is coated with lustrous dolomite rhombs then partly overgrown by secondary calcite rhombs. The final product is that the secondary calcite are included by both or all three minerals and the inclusions can be seen through the colorless calcite to some degree despite the inhibited view due to their matte textured surface.

The condition is undamaged aside from two cleaved crystals and some peripheral attachment contacting .
