Superb sample with red Hessonite crystals set among sparkly light green crystals of Diopside that makes this composition very aesthetic. 

The specimens from this locality are probably the most known and oldest among the different locations that produced garnets in the Alps from Liguria to Piemonte to Valle d'Aosta, and this without any doubts a top piece for the locality!
