Description

Very special specimen with abundant brown clarkeite. A black uraninite core (measures about 2.5 centimetres) is visible, which is surrounded by brown clarkeite and orange fourmarierite. Platy muscovite is present above and below. Excellent specimen of large size.

Clarkeite is only known from a few localities worldwide.

From the collection of Luc VANDENBERGHE, longtime mindat member and famous Belgian u-mineral collector. Specimen of a very well kept collection.
