Aleksander Rečnik Minerals was established for selling fine minerals from a private collection via auctions and local mineral shows. Aleksander Rečnik is the author of several articles and books on mineralogy of Slovenia. Since his young age he is a dedicated mineral collector, specialized on twinning and oriented growth of crystals.
