Andrew Seager BSc, PhD, AFC was a professor at Burkbeck College and University of London (from 1947) - teaching Mineralogy and Crystallography.
He was also Vice President of the Mineralogical Society and honary member of the Russell Society.
His collection was built up principally with minerals exhibiting good or interesting crystal form.
This was also his area of research.
Collection was dispersed through Nick Carruth and Richard Tayler from around 2002.
