Triazolite (IMA 2017-25) is chemically and structurally related to chanabayaite, for which it is a precursor phase.

Triazolite is the second naturally occuring (mineral) triazolate to be discovered so named for its chemistry: a triazolate is any complex of a metal and a triazole.
