Andesite quarry, reactivated in 2005. The former owner's name was Schahn. "Schaan" and "Jean" are misnomers. Access is stricly forbidden by the owner. The quarry is situated within a military training area. Located about 3 km ESE of Baumholder. The official name today is Hubertusruhe quarry.
