Description

The specimen features some pale greenish, prismatic zoisite crystals embedded in granular, gray quartz.

The Saualpe, Carinthia, Austria is the type locality for zoisite.

Comes with old A. Berger label. The mineral dealership of Anton Berger (junior and senior) was established in Mödling near Vienna, austria sometime between 1923 and 1925. Most of the Berger mineral labels were handwritten in their earliest years, but around 1929 they started using a typewriter.
