Azurite & Zincolivenite

Martin Jensen collection
Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Centennial Eureka Mine, Eureka, Tintic, Juab County, Utah, United States of America
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3 × 2 × 1.6 cm
Description

This is perhaps my favorite specimen from Martin's entire collection as far as aesthetics are concerned. The specimen hosts a large vug with rich sprays of zincolivenite crystals that are host to delicately placed, sharp bowties of azurite. Incredible specimen that must be seen in person. The starting price is high... but I will gladly keep this specimen if no one takes it!
