Description

A small but extremely rare specimen from Germany, a cluster of pale green well-formed witherite crystals up to 2.3 cm.

From an one-time find at the Beryll vein, -1305 meter level of the Shaft 371 Mine at Schlema-Hartenstein. The only notable find of witherite in Germany.
