From the former collection of the renowned naturalist Ennio Contarini (1891-1973) a catalogued specimen of vesuvianite from this Italian Alpine locality.

Several elongated vesuvianite crystals perched on the metamorphic matrix. Good lustre and quality, quite contrastful.
