Description

Short prismatic, grass-green coloured crystals of pyroxene with the surface replaced by polycrystalline fibres of dark green and grey amphibole, a classic “uralite” pseudomorph from the New York. This pseudomorph is a true perimorph, cause both minerals are still present.

Acquired in 1990. Ex Dr. Bob Janssens #2051.
