A piece of troilite from the Toluca, Jiquipilco, Mexico meteorite. This meteorite was discovered in early colonial times.

Comes with very old label dated 19th century. The label means: "Troilit aus dem Meteoreisen von Toluca in Mexiko - FeS" (Troilite from the meteoric iron of Toluca in Mexico - [chemical formula] FeS). Meteorites with old labels are very very rare on the markets.
