Description

Shark tooth recovered near Savigné-sur-Lathan (Tours) at a quarry that exploits calcarenites of Middle Miocene age. It is naturally eroded with a bright enamel of brown colour that contrasts with the snow white matrix of fossil fragments. Undamaged!.

This Odontaspis sp is of good size for the locality and it has been found in 06/2019 by Jean Claude Renau.
