Description

Rich specimen featuring two vugs filled with acicular kaliophillite. White creamy tuffs populate the vugs, sometimes with crystals going from side to side, and more rarely with perfect speer like termination. Low to no lustre as expected for the specie. The vugs are coated with a grey-blue clay mineral, most certainly tobermorite, quite typical in this paragenesis.
Rich and showy for the specie, one of the rarities from the Somma-Vesuvius complex.
