Description

A discontinuous layer of black tenorite (crystals?), partially altered to greenish blue chrysocolla, in a matrix of muscovite. Good size specimen, from the historical copper mines near Åmdals Verk. It comes with a handwritten label from Alf Olav Larsen, a Norwegian mineralogist and collector.

Acquired in 2011, Ex Jan Sibtsen #56.
