Description

Old specimen with aggregates of well defined tennantite crystals to 2 mm with good lustre from Rudabánya, an historical Hungarian Locality. It is an Ex. Claude Hootelé specimen, a well known Belgian collector, with a previous label from the Eduard Bally collection (1847-1926) (specimen #10067).

According to the information of the Bally’s Catalogue, kindly supplied by Dr. Nicolas Meisser, from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), this specimen was acquired by Eduard Bally in 1920 from C. W. Kessler in Idar Oberstein (Germany) for 15 Swiss Franc.
