Description

Specimen consisting of grey (due to graphite inclusions), foliated and overall bended talc. The talc is bound to a graphite schist.

Talc mining in the area was performed since before 1700. The activities ceased in 1965.
Although the specimen is not exactly a rarity, the accompanying label (size 11 x 6 cm) is definitly one of the most beautiful ones I have ever offered in e-rocks.
