Description

Rich clustar of bipyramidal sulphur crystals, with excellent canary color. The crystals are mostly speer shaped, elongated, with overlapping growth, and the terminations are almost always hoppered, which is typical for this genetic environment. The crystals grew upon a thin matrix, as a product of volcanic/fumarolic activity from the lake Myvatn.
Exceptionally rich for the locality, this is the first I see on the market in years.
It comes from the collection of S.F.C. Adrian, a dealer and collector from the United Kingdom.
