Size:
3.3 × 5.8 × 4 cm
Weight:
39.00gr
Description

Rare native sulphur submillimetric crystals cover the surface of this very light tuff rockwall, partly pseudomorphing what appears to be a very thin set of 'cooked' plant branches. Excellent surface coverage, medium lustre for the crystals.

Sousaki is a fumarolic hotspot less than 1h drive West of Athens. Remnant of the late regional volcanic activity, it is a modest sized area with a limited gaseous output.

Collected in 2019. Weight includes box's plastic base.

The real color is a pale canary yellow, closer to the last overview picture. I found it very hard to balance the white.
