Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Buck Mine, Cripple Creek, Teller County, Colorado, United States of America
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
10 × 5 × 4.2 cm
Description

Unique find of epimorphs of smoky quartz crystals with a micro-coating of chalcedony replacing laumontite. Most of the specimen I've seen are badly damaged. This is the only one for an acceptable price that I've seen, which displays nicely, with most of the tips intact and the remaining laumontite shining through the covering smoky quartz crystals - some even lurking out of the tips of the smoky quartz aggregates.
