Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5 × 4.2 × 3.3 cm
Description

What a gorgeous combination: there is a sharp terminated, waterclear and lustrous smoky quartz crystal. Then you can see very glossy and also sharp terminated adularia crystals. Only a few of them show a dark green layer of chlorite. Assemble, combination of minerals and colors is just amazing, really a jewel from Austrian Alps. We have to rank this much higher than compare-able material from Switzerland. Ther is so much less quantity from Austrian Alps and in opposite to Switzerland field collecting is prohibited, the area belongs to the national park "Hohe Tauern". So much less clefts, and no chance for field collecting. If we compare quantity from Switzerland and Austria I would say not even 10%. The specimen is in excellent condition damage-wise.
