You are bidding on an exceptional thumbnail with what has proven to be the world's best find of smithite crystals made by Dr. Frank Keutsch during his research at the locality. The sample hosts several beautiful groups of prismatic, wedge-terminated bright red smithite crystals with tiny metallic uchucchacuaite crystals on rhodochrosite. This is one of the best specimens from the very limited find.
