Description

The very best specimen from this auction: The chalcopyrite crystals are up to 38mm across. The faces consists of tiny steps, like tiles. So on photography the termination looks not as sharp as it is in person. The color is intense golden with some pale green and light red iridiscent color. All faces, all steps are highly lustrous. They are very exposed and also complete backside (only bottom of matrix was extracted from the rock). The matrix consists of intergrown siderite crystals, their edges are framed with micro sparkling quartz crystals. The locality is very rare and uncommon, no material available on common market. Aesthetic, crystal size, combination and contrast are excellent. Undamaged.
