Description

Continuing with the thinning out of my stibnite collection as I refocus on Mexican minerals.

If you like stibnite and you like rarities this is one for you. Stibnite has been one of my main focuses for almost 10 years now, and back in 2013 I came across two stibnite/selenite associations from Peru that I had never seen before. I anguished as I often do as whether I should buy one or wait to see more come along. Fortunately on this occasion I took the plunge as I have never seen another despite searching the internet for stibnite almost daily since then.

The selenite in this specimen is exceptionally clear (impossible to capture in the images) and stibnite clusters con be seen included (images 1-3). The pictures tell the rest.
