Description

A group of lustrous black tourmaline var. schorl crystals with good terminations on granite matrix, quite similar to those specimens from elba island, but from spain. A rare specimen with antique Isaac Walker label, dated 1808 - the oldest one is this auction.
The 'F' letter top-left is a code for specimens with origin Jacob Forster collection. The central number is the lot number, and the date of the auction on the right. The symbols bottom-left are a price code - the point . stands for a penny. The label means: "Feldspar with black Schorl, Spain".
