Description

Pistomesite is a magnesian variety of siderite and represents an out-standing rarity. Furka Basis Tunnel is generally a very rare locality - so we have a very rare mineral from a rare locality - and even as very aesthetic combination. The rock crystal is double terminated, lustrous and water-clear and the pistomesite developed also sharp, well formed crystals - they are perched at the top of the piece. No significant damages to report!
