Rock Crystal & Adularia

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Teischnitz Valley, Kals Valley, Tyrol, Austria
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.4 × 3.1 × 2.3 cm
Description

The faces of this crystal show a very nice texture, which looks like uncountable micro steps. Hard to capture this effect with camera, so please not that it is much better in person. It is sharp terminated and shows interesting phantoms. At the side you can see an inter grown, sharp terminated and lustrous snowy white adularia crystal. A very aesthetic combination-piece from a very rare uncommon locality.
