Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Hohe Warte Mine, Hagental, Harz, Lower Saxony, Germany
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
5.5 × 8 × 4 cm
Description

Rare stuff: From the ancient fluorite mine, active from 1976 to 1984, came the best German specimens of the serpentine group mineral cronstedtite.

This one is a very good example with blackish cronstedtite aggregates overgrowing spherical siderite on matrix, being overgrown themselves by brownish patches of siderite(?) and minor pyrite.

Has been in my collection since 1992.
