Pyromorphite & Cerussite On Quartz

Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Herrensegen Mine, Wildschapbach, Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach, Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.3 × 2.8 × 2.3 cm
Description

Botryoidal pyromorphite, another generation of pyromorphite crystals, colorless cerussite and more on quartz. I think the black part might be covelline or chalcocite and the yellowish single crystal looks like mimetite, but this is listed only for the sister-mine "Alt-Herrensegen". Anyway a very nice and interesting specimen.
