Quartz Pericline & Titanite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Gamsmutter, Habach Valley, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.1 × 4.1 × 2.3 cm
Description

This is really a remarkable specimen! The quartz crystal is double terminated, sharp and lustrous. It is water-clear inside, the black chlorite is intergrown to the surface - but in person you can see the clarity of the crystal well. The contrast to sparkling snowy white pericline is very eye-catching! Scattered all over the pericline you can see sharp tiny titanite crystals in bright yellow color. The specimen is much better in person, very aesthetic and really excellent. No significant damages to report.
