Description

Radiating crystalline pyrophyllite with silvery luster on a matrix of amorphous white quartz.

19th century specimen which comes with antique Carl-Friedrich Pech label dated 1892-1899, a former mineral dealership located in Berlin, Germany.

"Spaa" (City of Spa, Liege Province) does not exist as a locality in mindat, but the localities for pyrophyllite are only about 20 kms away.
