Description

A small miniature specimen of hollandite in association with pyrolusite on a limonitic matrix measuring 4.1x2.7x3.3cm at the widest points.  Dotted around the specimen are several fairly deep pockets that are lined with tiny black bladed crystals of pyrolusite.  Sitting on top of some of the pyrolusite are thick black needles of hollandite.  Both the hollandite and pyrolusite show a weakly metallic lustre.  Minor calcite is also associated

Seller's Response Time:  Seller will endeavor to reply to questions within 24 hours wherever possible although travelling or other unforseen events may take longer to respond to.  Seller will respond at teh earliest possible convenience.

 

Payment:  Buyers are asked to make payments in pounds sterling (GBP)

Shipping:   Please refer to shipping costs quoted on individual items and shipping policy section on the item page. All shipping costs are those charged by the UK Royal Mail, Parcel Force or DHL.  These costs may change over time in which case the Seller reserves the right to change these rates.

Shipping costs will be lower when 2 or more specimens are purchased together.

Seller will always quote and charge actual costs. Insurance, Special Delivery or DHL services are available to the Buyer at the Buyer's expense.

Returns:  If, for whatever reason, the Buyer is not happy with the specimen due either to it being not as described or photographed on the appropriate specimen page, or the specimen being damaged or broken in transit, the Seller will be happy to have the specimen returned at the Buyer's expense.  Notification that the specimen is being returned must be received by the Seller within 10 days of receipt otherwise Seller will assume that the Buyer is happy with the purchase and will no longer accept returns.  The specimen should be returned as soon as possible after the Seller has been informed that the specimen is being returned.  For specimens returned because the Buyer is not happy with their purchase, the Seller must receive the specimen back in exactly the same condition as it was sent from the Seller.  In the unfortunate event that a specimen is broken in the post, Buyer must ensure that as many fragments of the specimen, however small, are returned to the Seller so that compensation can be sought from the relevant postal service.  Refunds will be given for the specimen on receipt of the specimen in its original state.  Refunds will be paid by Paypal.
