Single Crystal
Size Range:
Thumbnail (1-3cm)

2.4 × 2.3 × 2.3 cm
Description

Alpine pyrite is generally rare - but I never saw even one smaple from this locality. For experts and collectors of alpine minerals for sure a very special piece. It is developed as floater, the faces show a very attractive stratiation. Although it is not perfect it represents an outstanding rarity and should be high valued for the unique locality (usually well known for smokies, but never for pyrite).
