Description

Very rare specimen of pyrite and calcite from Thayngen, an almost unknown Swiss locality close to the German border. The calcite crystals (some 'Mercedes-star'-tipped) show intense pink fluorescence. The pyrite crystals (pyritohedrons?) are grown together to little balls.
