This is a sample from the Stormsdown Mine in Tasmania. The label reads "Stannite."

The Geologicla Survey report No. 11 of the Tasmania Department of Mines describes the ore body at the  Stormsdown Mine as follows: "irregular masses of pyrite containing very fine-grained cassiterite with spalerite, galena, and siderite.

"The samples examined consist essentially of pyrite and quartz , extensively replaced by sphalerite and siderite, and veined by late galena . Pyrite and quartz are the most severely deformed minerals, and both are paragenetically earlier than the sphalerite. Minor marcasite and arsenopyrite are associated with the pyrite, which also contains rare fine-grained inclusions of stannite, usually less than 50μm in diameter."
