Description

An oddity out of the old Dr. Krantz stock: A piece of very light (it swims in water) pumice. The old label means: 'Bimsstein von Karolusik auf Kornoy im Goodhaabsfiord in Grönland. Kommt mit dem Eise von Island angeschwommen' (Pumice from Karolusik on Karnoy (island) in the Godthåb fjord in Greenland. Washed up with the ice from iceland). Notice the old spelling with the line over the 'm' to double the consonant.
