Description

Clear green botryoidal crust aggregate of phosphohedyphane, coating and surrounding a quartz matrix. Traditionally these have been considered as pyromorphite, but similar analysed specimens have revealed that are very rich in calcium and can be classified as phosphohedyphane (=polysphaerite). Minor UV fluorescence under long & short illumination.
