Description

Old time specimen from Dashkesan in modern Azerbaijan, former governorate Tiflis, an administrative unit of the general governorate Caucasus in the former russian empire which exists before WW I.
The specimen features a few well-developed cobaltite crystals, purple crusts of erythrite (possibly as alteration product) and lawns of tiny green pharmacosiderite crystals on chlorite schist. Despite some cracks, this specimen is stable.

An interesting historic specimen which comes with two antique labels, one stamp-like typewriter label and one Dr. F. Krantz pen&ink label dated 1900-1920.
