Description

A massive, rough chlinochlore specimen, grey to light green, barely translucent, accompanied by minor brown muscovite.

Comes with beautiful old Krantz pen&ink label. "Markirch" is the german name for todays Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, thus the specimen is likely from a time before WW I when the area belonged to the german empire. "Penninik" is an old name for chlinochlore.

Although not a beauty, an interesting historic specimen.
